More About Lying to Myself

When I had a runny nose and was sneezing and my mother started suggesting I was sick, I said to her, "I'm fine, mum! I just have a runny nose. It doesn't mean I'm sick!"

Even though I had to blow my nose often, in silence, I kept repeating to myself: "There's nothing wrong with me! I'm feeling good!"

By the next day, the "cold" had cleared up. Mum was amazed how quickly I had got rid of the cold without taking anything.

That's the power of lying to myself - when I say something long enough, and believe it to be true, it does come true.

Actually, I wasn't lying to myself - I was speaking the Truth of my real self who is always well and happy.

Regardless of appearances to the contrary, I'm always feeling good!
