Following My Hunch

As I was walking home, a lot later than usual, I noticed this man with a dog walking towards me. As the dog was walking with a hunch, I asked the man what was wrong with the dog and he said the dog was 15 years old and had a pinched nerve. I asked if I could lay my hand on the dog for healing. The man laughed and said he actually had a distance healer working on the dog and was happy for me to work with the dog too. The dog sat quietly as I stroked and petted him.

His human friend asked me what kind of healing I practised and how I knew I had the Gift. I said I've trained in Reiki and Pranic Healing and I practise spiritual healing. I said I believe we all have the Gift because God is in all and works through everyone.

My friend said he had another dog at home who is sick and asked if he could call me and maybe I could help him I gave him my number and said I could pop round tomorrow on the way home.

He said he's been praying and asking God to work through him so he could heal his dogs and nothing's happening. It was only when he took the dog with the trapped nerve to a chiropractor that he got slightly better. He said his other dog is on medication but he doesn't think it's working.

I pointed out to my friend that God could be answering his prayers by working through the chiropractor and orchestrating our meeting. (I've been using that route for a few years now and I've never met him before). I also said he was lucky that he had his dog with him as that was what had attracted me to him in the first place. He said he wasn't going to bring his dog out. I said we may not have spoken or even met if he hadn't had his dog with him.

It's funny how I had an evening of following my hunches.

Hunch no 1: I went for a walk by the canal. I was hoping to see a friend who has a boat there but he wasn't there. (That's how I ended up walking home later than usual).

Hunch no 2: I noticed the dog with a hunch and stopped to chat to hus human friend.

Hunch no 3: I offered healing to the dog. I have NEVER offered healing to anyone I've met in the street before. The words just seem to pop out of my mouth and I found myself wanting to reach out and touch the dog.

Hunch no 4: I offered to go round my friend's house. For some reason I just feel like it's the right thing to do so I'm going with that hunch. I've told my friend I'm not coming round with any expectations as I am not a "Healer." I am just going to let God do the work and see what happens.

In any case, I'm looking forward to spending time with my new dog friends as I love dogs. :-)

Support Staff

When I went to use the toilets in the library, I saw this young woman speaking on her mobile and bawling her eyes out. I put my arms around her to comfort her. She hung up the phone and explained to me that her work colleague had said something to her that she found very upsetting. She felt he was bullying her. She'd been so upset that she ran into the toilets to make a phone call to speak to her mother. I gave her a hug and handed her a cleansing wipe to tidy her makeup.

In the meantime, the library staff had heard the commotion and the manager came round to see if she could help. My friend explained why she was upset and said her colleague was waiting for her outside the building but she didn't want to speak to him. The manager assured her that she would not put her in a situation that will upset her further. My friend asked me if I could walk with her to the local train station and I said I was happy to. The library manager arranged for a member of her staff to take us through the offices and out through a different exit and we walked down a different road to avoid my friend's colleague.

On the way to the train station, my friend expressed her concerns about having to work with that same colleague. She said she want to speak to him face to face but could communicate with him via email. I shared with her an article I read recently about a woman who had transformed her work environment with an "obnoxious" work colleague by using the power of Love. The woman also used Love to transform her relationship with a difficult student she was working with. Although my friend found the anecdotes interesting, I could see she wasn't open to that way of doing things, which is fair enough. She said she was going to phone her boss and complain about her colleague's behaviour and ask her to do something about it.

While we chatted, I asked my friend where she was from and she said she lives in Essex with her husband and two year old son. Her face lit up as she spoke about her family. I could see she had a very happy family life. I told her I took a long walk to Essex a few days ago, though she lives in a different town to the one I walked to. My friend said she's a huge fan of a Reality TV show called The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) which is set around where she lives. Although I've never watched TOWIE , I'm aware of the show. In fact two of the characters from TOWIE were actually in a charity show I watched the other day. My friend said she's met a few of the characters from TOWIE and even been to the same night clubs the characters go to.

At the train station, I gave my friend another hug and wished her well.

Love is always present to support us in a crisis. Love was made manifest as the supportive and understanding library staff who met my friend's needs; and as me to accompany my friend to the station. I also ended up making a new friend.

I trust in Love to resolve the situation between my friend and her colleague.

Give Thanks Anyway

It's easy to give thanks (be grateful) when things are going one's way. What about those times when things are not so great?

I believe it's important to give thanks anyway!

Giving thanks reminds me that there's Good or God in every experience, even the ones I'm not so in love with. Therefore, instead of resisting the situation, I trust that the Good in the situation is working things out for the best.

Last night when I accidentally hit my knee against a wall, I immediately gave thanks and the pain was dissolved. In other words, God in my knee had resolved it; or it could have been God in the wall.

I give thanks for all experiences as there is Good in all experiences.

Everything is always working out for the best.

Natural Born Psychic

While I was having a conversation with a man I'd just met on my walk, I noticed he was staring at my hands.

"You have very long fingers, don't you?" he said. "Are you a pianist?"

"Close! As a matter of fact, I spend most of my time on a typewriting keyboard," I chuckled.

Some people are natural born psychics! :-)

God Takes Care of His Own

As it was another mild and sunny day, I decided to go for a long walk via the canal to a little town on the outskirts of London called Waltham Abbey. It's a 17 mile round trip.

On that particular route there are usually just cyclists. Only a few hard core walkers like myself would ever venture that far.

I love everything about that path: the tranquil river, the birds, horses in their paddocks, the countryside, the smell of the countryside and just how peaceful it is.

On the way, I chatted to this man in his canal boat. His companion, a dog, came out to sniff me. He said he's from Scotland and likes to travel but since his boat broke down he's been stuck in the same spot for a few months. There was a smaller boat behind that he'd bought for his son but he's not into it. He intends to sell it and then use the money to repair his boat so he could set off on his travels. As I was chatting to him I was dying to see what the inside of his boat looks like. In any case, his phone rang and I said a quick goodbye.

After wandering round the town of Waltham Abbey, I paid a visit to the actual abbey, which dates back to the Middle Ages. Legend has it that King Harold II was healed at that church. After spending a few minutes resting in the church I set off on my journey home.

On the way back, I chatted to this man who had been fishing. He said he hadn't caught anything and was preparing to go home. He believed at this time of the year the fish stay underneath the water. He said it's only when the weather gets warmer do the fish come up to play. He showed me some of his equipments he'd got quite cheaply at the Pound Shop. He said anyone could start off fishing with all they need for £5 or less.

Next, I noticed a man and his two dogs standing outside a canal boat. He said hello and I stopped to chat to him. He's originally from Ireland. He sold his property and bought a boat. He said he loves the freedom that lifestyle gives him. He asked me if I wanted to look in and I said yes and he gave me a guided tour of his living room room which led to a kitchenette with the shower room and toilet at the other end. I thought it was really lovely and just right for him and his two companions. When I came out we stood around talking for ages. By then it was getting cold and I started shivering. My friend offered to give me a spare scarf he had in his boat. I told him I had one in my bag which I took out. He asked me if I wanted a drink but I said I had to go as it was getting late. We then exchanged warm hugs. He said next time he'll make me a meal.

I was amazed how I had lost track of time and now I had to walk the rest of the 4 miles in darkness. At some point, I came across two guys sitting on a bench and one on a bicycle. The guy on the bicycle said hello and I said hello back. A dog standing close by snarled at me, came close, sniffed me and made a hasty retreat. The guy who had said hello asked me if I'd been walking on that route on my own as it was quite a "dodgy" place to be at night. He asked me where I'd come from and I told him. He asked me how far I was going and I said I only had another mile or so to go. He then wished me well.

I could see where the friend I'd met on the canal was coming from. He must have thought I was mad walking on that canal path on my own in darkness. What my friend didn't realise was I was walking with the conscious awareness that wherever I am, God is. Therefore, God is always loving me, protecting me and watching over me.

I believe it was God's love that was manifested as the actual walk that I enjoyed, the people I met along the way that I chatted to. It was God's love manifested as the friend on the canal boat who invited me into his home, his hospitality, his dogs, the stories we shared, and the hugs we exchanged.

I believe it was God's presence watching over me that was manifested as the man I had met later who had showed concern for my well being.

Avoiding Attention

About a week ago while I was walking home, a man walking towards me said hello and called me beautiful. I smiled and said hello.

Two days later, I saw him again and he said hello and called me beautiful. I waved at him and continued walking. Next thing I knew he was walking beside. He said I had beautiful lips and he would love a kiss. I told him no. He asked if he could accompany me and I said no.

After that, I put out an intention for our paths to NEVER cross again as I could do without that kind of attention.

The next two days I didn't see him again.

Yesterday evening, while I was walking through the area a lot later than usual, I saw the man walking towards me.

I thought, "Oh, no!"

The moment I had the thought, the man went into a local shop so I didn't have to deal with him.

Thank you, God, for making me invisible as and when the need arises.

Budding Love

While I was taking a walk via the canal, I noticed what looked like a surfing board in front of a boat. I couldn't resist teasing the boat owner. I asked him if he was going surfing. He laughed and said it was inside his boat and he'd thrown it out. He suggested I could have it if I fancied surfing on the river.

I stopped to have a chat with my new friend.

He told me he'd recently acquired his boat (his first ever) which needs a lot of work inside and out. He said someone tried to steal his engine last night but they couldn't get access to it as it was locked up.

He invited me to have a look inside his boat. I stood on the doorway and looked in. It was quite deep inside but it was full of junk. I told him he really had his work cut out. He didn't even have electricity, he can only work on the boat when it's light.

It was going to be his project for the next few months. He was aiming for it to be finished before the summer so he could travel up north.

He said so far he's spent one night in his boat and he found it very blissful.

I patted his boat and asked him if he had a name for it. He intended to call it Psalm. I suggested he call it Psalm 91 as it's the Psalm of Protection. I said his boat will always be protected.

I asked my friend how long he was moored at that spot. He said boat owners are only allowed to moor for 2 weeks at a time and then you have to move somewhere but he's been at that spot longer because his boat was leaking which he had to fix. He said an Enforcer comes round every day to ensure boat owners have the appropriate licence and regulates their stay.

I'm so happy my friend has a new love who gives him so much joy. I love that even though he knows his new love needs a lot of attention, he's not scared of the task as he knows the rewards will be worth it. Good luck to both of them!

Even if my friend never calls his new new love "Psalm 91", to me, his boat will always be protected by Love.

Looking for Trouble

"The light of God surrounds me; The love of God enfolds me; The power of God protects me; The presence of God watches over me. Wherever I am, God is!" ~~ James Dillet Freeman
In the movie, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, which I watched last night, Sybok (Spock's half brother) tries to get the crew of the Enterprise to take him to a mythical planet where he believes creation began and the home of God Almighty. The planet is beyond a barrier where no one has gone before. Sybok uses his telepathic abilities to get the crew on his side.

Long story short, they manage to break through the barrier and Captain Kirk, Sybok, Spock and McCoy take a shuttle to the planet to meet the Almighty who is an energetic force with immense power. Sybok is impressed but Kirk isn't convinced especially when god starts asking them how they managed to get through the barrier and if he could see their ship. When Kirk asks god what he wants with a star ship, god gets angry and attacks him and his crew. In the end, they do manage to destroy the entity before it leaves the planet.

I believe anyone who travels somewhere to look for God is looking for trouble. It's rather like these places that people flock to because they believe they are sacred and have a lot of energy. Some people even flock to see people whom they believe have God power and wisdom and look to these people for guidance. I say you're not only looking to be deceived but being ripped off in the bargain.

As I see it, God's nature is omnipresence i.e. God is in everything and everywhere. Therefore, instead of searching for God at some far away place or looking to someone, all I need to do is look within me and I'll "discover" that the same One that is in me is the same One that is in all.

Here's one demonstration.

For the last few weeks when I've been using the Internet at the library, I've noticed when I try to log into two particular websites, the pages are stuck at an old date; but when I log on at home I have no problem accessing the current website pages. The only one who could answer my question is the IT (Information Technology) guy but he doesn't work in the same building. I have thought of emailing him but it's such a long-winded process that I couldn't be bothered. So yesterday I asked God to resolve the situation once and for all.

Today while I was in the library, I saw the IT guy working on a computer near me. I then asked him about the stuck page and he said it was because the page was slow loading. He asked me if I had tried pressing Refresh function. When I did, the situation was resolved. He said whenever I have that problem I should always press Refresh.

I didn't have to go looking for the IT guy or writing emails. All I needed to do was speak to the One in me, which is the same One in the IT guy; and he heard me and came to my assistance.

I don't need to go looking for God because God is right where I am.

Changing Lanes

What if you notice a car that has lost control and is heading towards you.

(a) Would you let nature (i.e. whatever circumstances have been set in motion) take its course no matter what the outcome?

(b) Would you step out the way so the car doesn't hit you?

(c) If the accident can't be avoided, would you reverse the situation as if it never happened?

I would obviously move out of the way. If I could prevent the accident from happening, I would.

I once heard a story about this man who ran over a boy. After the accident happened, the man, who was a Christian Scientist used Truth principles to treat the condition. He argued that God's Universe is love, therefore, where there is only love no accidents can ever happen. The boy got up and was perfect, as if nothing had ever happened. (See my experience where I used Truth principles to heal a sprain How StarTrek Saved the Day).

When I was run over as a child, the Inner Voice told me that I was dreaming and the accident wasn't real. I believe if I had accepted that Truth the situation would have been reversed and wiped out from memory. I would have just crossed the road as usual and continued on my journey to school.

Since that incident, I've been in three other situations that have been prevented.

First, when I was sill living in Africa and we were travelling on a coach from up country. I was sitting next to the driver at the time. At some point, I noticed the coach changing lanes. It was then I realised that the driver was fast asleep. I woke the driver up and he got us back on track. I kept my eye on him for the rest of that journey.

Second was when I was back living in London. This time, a van appeared from nowhere and was about to hit me but an invisible hand pulled me out of the way. I say "invisible" because there was no one there when I turned round to thank the person.

The last time was when I was nearly run over by a bus but time slowed down and I had all the time in the world to move out of harm's way. It was only when I caught the bus behind and sat down that I realised what had almost happened.

But, but, how do you know it's not someone's Karma to be in a car accident? It might be their time to go. Or they might need to learn lessons from their experience?

Let's put it this way, you are free to run over someone if you believe it's your Karma, but not on my watch. Find yourself another karmic playmate!

Back to the three options I listed earlier which, I believe, represent two ways of living.

Choice (a) represents experiencing life through the laws of Karma. You are helpless to change things because you believe your beliefs and programming have set events in motion and you just have to accept the consequences of your actions and learn from them.

Choices (b) and (c) represent being the Real YOU that is eternal, everywhere present and perfect. That YOU can create new experiences and even undo past mistakes and consequences of mistakes.

Alas, the human dream is not designed for people to live as their Real Self otherwise the structure of society would collapse and create untold chaos and uncertainty. Where would emergency services be if people no longer had accidents? What about insurers, doctors, lawyers, car mechanics and the police? Where is their livelihood going to come from?

I believe people will change lanes when they are ready to be the Real Self. In the meantime, the road of life is perfect as it is.

Just stay out of my way! :-)

Getting Serious

If I want an intimate relationship I'm in to be taken seriously, I have to introduce my special friend to my family and loved ones. Even if they don't meet up in person, at least acknowledge that I'm seeing him. I expect the one I'm seeing to also want me to meet his loved ones or at least they must be aware that we have been going out.

I believe in applying the same idea to Light.

It's not enough to just know that Light is my Source or affirm that I am Light. If I want Light to take me seriously, it's important to acknowledge Light as the Source and only doer at all times. Another way is to INTEND that Light is all and in all!

Every day I acknowledge/intend that I live, move and have my being in Light and that Light is doing everything and making my day wonderful.

For instance, when I heard a friend was having an operation, I thanked Light for doing the operation and taking care of him. While my friend is obviously being looked after by human forms, instruments and medication, I acknowledge Light as the One working through the all. This way, I know all is working out perfectly.

When I don't acknowledge Light as the Source, I'm in a relationship with someone that is fun but is never going to get to the next level. Then I'll never get to explore the MAGIC of love.

I acknowledge Light as my companion, family, friend, intelligence, life, lover, muse, partner, playmate, power, source, supply, support, well being and everything.

Little Things That Make Me Smile

Whenever I travel through a particular area, I always check to see if a pink car is parked on that particular street.

This morning, it wasn't there.

During the bus journey, a cute pink car drove by the bus. When it got stuck in traffic it was right near my window.

When I got off the bus, the pink car was still in traffic and I even walked right past it.

Pink cars definitely make me smile!

Letting Love Take Charge

I believe it's important to let my Love/Universal Self take charge at all times.

When Love is in charge, it's like being able to see from infinite angles; while the human self only has a limited perception of things.

For instance, recently after I put out an intention that I wanted to find suitable boots and started fantasising about shoe shops I could go to, I felt this Force taking over my feet and walking me in the direction of a town where I found the boots I liked. In other words, the Force who knows all had ignored my limited perception and had taken charge; and I had no choice but to comply. See Sole Searching

A while back when I was travelling on the bus and pondering on some ideas, my thoughts were stopped and an image was flashed in my mind's eye showing me the bus I was in turning into another road, then I returned to my thoughts. Later, the bus was diverted. I realised the flashing image had been Love giving me advanced warning to find an alternative route. See Intuition as Advance Warning

While I was working on this piece, I started writing it from one perspective, which wasn't working. I then asked Love to take charge. I ended up deleting paragraphs and rewrote it. I realised, Love simply wants this piece to be a reminder of how to let Her take charge.

Thank you, Love, for taking charge. You always know what is best for me.

Life Force - Part 2

After I wrote about how my life force is changeless and cannot be depleted in any way, a few hours later I started experiencing the initial signs of a migraine.

The moment I started losing my vision, I started affirming that "Nothing can be added or taken away from my life force" and my vision was soon restored.

I continued to affirm the Truth. Although I still had a headache, it wasn't as intense and it was dissolved in no time.

Nothing can be added to or taken away from my life force.

Life Force

One thing I believe we all have in common is our life force, which is changeless and eternal and yet unique to each individual.

Nothing can be added to or taken away from my life force. In fact, it is impossible to actually change or influence my life force in any shape or form.

My life force is rather like my writings, which are expressions of my life force. Readers can choose to get inspiration from them and share them with others (if they are so moved) but they cannot edit them.

In the same respect, I can choose to explore or even get inspiration from someone's expression whether it's art, music, film, writing, but I have no power to change them.

If none of us have the power to influence each other's life force, why do we feel depleted? Why do people and animals get sick, grow old and die?

I believe any reality where one's life force is being depleted or being influenced by others is a dream and not real.

How do I stop the dream?

By "waking up" and realising the Truth that my life force is always full, complete and perfect; and cannot be depleted in any way, not even by my own thoughts, emotions or actions.

I cannot give my life force to anyone nor can anyone take away my life force.

In other words, nothing can be added to or taken away from my life force.

Making an Appearance

Before I set off on my walk home, I put out an intention for cats and dogs to appear along the way. I find cats and dogs make my walk so enjoyable.

The first cat I spotted ran underneath a car as soon as I said hello. At least he had appeared along the way.

The second cat I saw was about to cross the road. He acknowledged me when I called out to him but he had better things to do than to stop and chat.

Just at that moment, I noticed a man and his dog across the road. The dog was pulling at the lead and her tail was wagging really fast.

I heard the man saying to the dog, "You can't go saying hello to everyone you see!"

But the dog was having none of it and pulling harder at the lead. It was then I realised the dog was excited to see me so I waved at them, which made the dog even more excited.

"Do you want to say hello?" the man said.

"Yes, I love dogs!"

As soon as they crossed over, the dog pounced on me. She was so affectionate. I shook her hand and told her it was lovely to see her.

"She must have sensed you were friendly," the man said.

"Yes, I think dogs can sense that," I stroked the dog's head. "And you're a Chocolate Labrador! I love Chocolate Labs!"

What a sweetheart! I hope I get to see her again soon.

At another street, I saw two dogs being chased by their human friend who wanted them to get back indoors. I thought it was hilarious!

Just before I arrived home, I saw another cat friend sitting outside his house. In the past I've said hello to him and even stroked him. This time, he wasn't in the mood to play.

Thank you, friends, for appearing in my play.

Postal Delivery - Part 2

"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." James 2: 26
I'm very scientific in my approach to life. I believe in testing out principles I believe in to see if they have any practical application. Only then do I share my discoveries and experiences with others. I don't obviously expect anyone to accept my experiences as gospel; I expect people to test the ideas for themselves to see if they work for them or not.

Here's one example.

When I went home I picked up my mother's mail. She said that letter had arrived in the afternoon. She said when the first post arrived she didn't feel like going downstairs to pick them up. She remembered what I had said about asking God to do everything so she prayed, "God, please send someone to pick up those letters!" Then she went back to rest in her chair.

Soon, the doorbell rang. She wondered who it could be as she wasn't expecting any visitors. It was a man from the electricity company who had come round to read the meter. As the man was coming up the stairs, mum asked if he could pick up her letters but he said he'd already done it.

After mum shared her experience, I said, "That's great, mum! See, God doesn't play favourites! What works for me can also work for you. You asked Him to send someone to pick up your letters and He arranged it."

"I didn't even think of how it would happen. If I'd been wondering how it would happen, it probably wouldn't have happened."

"Exactly!" I said. "It's not for you to worry about the how. As long as you trust in God, then God will always make a way where there appears to be no way."

I said to mum that because she'd asked God to send someone to pick up the letters, that's exactly what happened. I believe if she'd asked God to pick up the letters for her, she would have been cutting out the middle man. Then God's power is free to unleash in many different ways. Mum could have felt the Power giving her the strength to walk up and down the stairs effortlessly, or the Power could have still appeared as the electricity man, or someone else might have called round.

Still, it's good to see mum testing out ideas for herself.

"Faith without works is dead."

Don't Tell Me Why, Show Me How!

Years ago, I was in a car accident.

When the incident occurred, bystanders didn't just stand there wondering why I was in that situation, they did what they could to help me. Fortunately, an ambulance was a few cars behind which took me to the nearest hospital where the nurses and doctors took care of me.

I feel at the moment there is so much information from "teachers" trying to explain why people do what they do, why humanity is in the current state it's in, which keeps you stuck in the problem. "Teachers" like to see their "students" stuck in problems as problems generate lots of income for them.

Who cares about the why?

All I'm interested in is solutions.

If I'm hungry, I want to know how I can manifest food now and for all time.

Don't tell me why, show me how!

Just Because I Love Pink Cars

Ever since I put out an intention that I wanted to see pink cars, I've seen lots of pink cars including pink taxis, pink vans, pink lorries and even a pink bus. They've even appeared on TV adverts.

The funny thing is pink cars always pop up wherever I am or are strategically parked either on my bus route or the routes I walk. It's as if they know how much I want to see them so they appear just for me.

Just recently as I was crossing this particularly road, a pink sports car drove right by me. I told the driver I loved her car and she thanked me.

Today when I went to the library, I spotted a pink car parked right outside the building. Come to think of it, a few days ago I noticed a pink taxi parked in the same spot outside the library.

When I entered the library, the first man I saw had on a pink shirt.

Thank you, pink cars, for blessing me with your presence.

I love you all!

Song of the Day - 12

I just LOVE this song! The lyrics is soooo true and makes me smile. I bet a lot of blokes can relate to the sentiments in the song. ;-)

"A Little Less Conversation" by Elvis Presley.

Straight From the Horse's Mouth

I was telling my mother about meeting this guy in the park with his dogs but his dogs are always so impatient to get back home because they want to get fed. I wondered out loud if the dogs get fed three times a day and how many times they go for their walks.

This morning, as I was walking through the local park, I saw the man and his dogs walking towards me. The dogs were true to character - looking impatient.

It was my opportunity to ask my friend what I'd been wondering about. He said the dogs have a walk in the morning, then have one big meal and then get biscuits in the afternoon. When he and his wife are eating, the dogs usually get scraps from them. The dogs are then taken for a final walk in the evening.

I love how after I wondered, our walks got synchronised so I could have my answers straight from the horse's mouth.

Un-Bloat Me Now!

Before I went to bed, I noticed my stomach was so bloated I looked several months pregnant and I felt really uncomfortable.

I decided to do something about it so I thought: "God, this is your body, un-bloat it now!"

As I lay in bed, I could feel my stomach slowly reducing in size in rather the same way a balloon releases air when it has a hole in it. And I didn't have to release any air at the rear end either. Just before I fell asleep, I checked my stomach and it was back to normal.

He who gives me a body is responsible for its maintenance and upkeep.

Happy Love Day!

Today, billions of people are celebrating love on St Valentine's Day. This is usually about romantic love, which comes and goes and is not real.

I believe real love is the Love in me which is the source of all love and all life.

The Love in me never condemns but loves.

The Love in me never criticises but loves.

The Love in me never discriminates but loves all equally.

The Love in me never fails but loves.

The Love in me never gives up but loves.

The Love in me never judges but loves.

The Love in me never stops loving but loves.

The Love in me is eternal life.

The Love in me is the only power.

The Love in me is everywhere present and in all.

The Love in me is reality.

The Love in me is my real self.

Love builds, heals, restores, supplies and sustains.

Thank you, Love!

Happy Love day for all time!

More About Lying to Myself

When I had a runny nose and was sneezing and my mother started suggesting I was sick, I said to her, "I'm fine, mum! I just have a runny nose. It doesn't mean I'm sick!"

Even though I had to blow my nose often, in silence, I kept repeating to myself: "There's nothing wrong with me! I'm feeling good!"

By the next day, the "cold" had cleared up. Mum was amazed how quickly I had got rid of the cold without taking anything.

That's the power of lying to myself - when I say something long enough, and believe it to be true, it does come true.

Actually, I wasn't lying to myself - I was speaking the Truth of my real self who is always well and happy.

Regardless of appearances to the contrary, I'm always feeling good!

Why It's Important to Have a Vision

"The dreamers are the saviours of the world. As the visible world is sustained by the invisible, so men, through all their trials and sins and sordid vocations, are nourished by the beautiful visions of their solitary dreamers. Humanity cannot forget its dreamers; it cannot let their ideals fade and die; it lives in them; it knows them as the realities which it shall one day see and know." As a Man Thinketh, by James Allen
After I heard about the tsunami in Japan last year, I wrote a piece which included my vision for Japan. Here's part of my vision:
"I see Japan as a perfect idea that cannot be touched by any disasters. No matter how things appear right now, there is a perfect idea of Japan that exists right in that same space of devastation and loss. That perfect idea is inspiring the Japanese people to rise again, better than before." Regarding Japan - Why Ideas Can Never Be Destroyed
I noticed this news article about Japan with photos: What a comeback! Eleven months after the tsunami ravaged Japan, a series of pictures reveals the incredible progress being made to clear up the devastation

It's good to see my vision for Japan is not only coming true, it's almost identical to the news headline.

That's why I believe it's so important to hold the highest possible vision at all times as those thoughts are alive.

True Beauty Never Dies!

When I received a text message in the middle of the night that the American singer, Whitney Houston, had passed away, I was stunned.

What a waste!

The first time I heard the song Saving All My Love For You, I fell in love with Whitney Houston's voice. I can even remember exactly where I was when I heard that song.

I just LOVE this song!

Thank you, Whitney, for sharing your beautiful voice with us. True beauty never dies!

Peace and love always.

Like Offering Meat to a Vegan

When I started sneezing, my mother was concerned and asked if I was OK. I told her I was fine. I then went to lie down and go into mySelf which is how I get healing.

Mum knocked on the door asking me if I wanted anything and I said no.

Usually what she has to offer is based on her model of reality, which I don't share.

It's rather like offering meat to a Vegan. Good intention but hardly appropriate!

Reminds me of an article I read recently about a Christian Scientist who had been injured at a baseball game. For insurance purposes, he had to go the hospital. On the way he used Truth principles to help him heal. He explained to the doctor that he was a Christian Scientist and only wanted the wound cleaned and bound. The doctor wanted him to prove it. Fortunately, the man carried a membership card in his wallet. The doctor still wanted to xray the patient's ankle but the man refused as that went against his belief. He explained to the doctor that his family has always relied on spiritual healing, which the doctor accepted. After physically inspecting his ankle, the doctor even said he should continue doing whatever he was doing as it was working.

Still, I appreciate that the doctor at the hospital meant well as did my mother; it's their way of showing love.

I have no problem receiving love as long as that love doesn't encroach on my beliefs!

I was meant to meet up with a friend but I had a bit of a head cold that I couldn't shake off. After I composed a text to my friend to cancel, I decided to wait and see how I felt later before sending the text.

I soon received a text from my friend that he wanted to cancel because he was feeling tired.

I texted him that I was going to cancel as well as I wasn't up for going out either.

Everything is always working out for the best.

Disappearing Act

As it was freezing, I decided to catch the bus home from the city.

I usually prefer to sit upstairs but I felt like sitting downstairs for a change. I spotted a window seat but the passenger in front of me seemed to have the same idea and headed towards the seat. I sat next to her.

I figured I would do my affirmations during the journey. So I closed my eyes and started affirming "Thank you, Light!"

After I'd repeated the affirmation about five times, I opened my eyes and saw the seat next to me was now vacant. I looked around to see whether the woman had swapped seats but she wasn't in any of the seats downstairs. There's no way she could have got off the bus because the bus hadn't yet arrived at the next stop. In any case, I would have felt her as she was leaving as I would have had to move out of the way, but I felt nothing.

Maybe, she was a "dark entity" who was repelled by my Light affirmations? ;-)

At least, I got my window seat!

Fab, Capello

While I was hanging out with a friend who is mad about football, we heard that the England football manager, Fabio Capello, had resigned. There were lots of people giving their opinions on Twitter about his resignation.

Here's my two pennies worth.

I've always loved that England had an Italian as their manager for purely selfish reasons - because he's Italian and Italian is my favourite language to listen to. (I don't speak it).

Just want to thank you for all your good work and I wish you all the very best in your endeavours!

You'll always be Fab to me, Capello!

Love Reinstated

After reading an article in an online newspaper about a celebrity who was going through a hard time, I decided to leave a message wishing her and her family all the very best for the future.

In the comments section readers can rate whether they like or dislike readers' comments.

I noticed majority of the comments that readers were liking were the ones that were "attacking" the celebrity. My comment and similar comments were attracting lots of dislikes.

Later, I noticed my comment was no longer there. I soon received an email that my comment had been removed because readers had complained against what I'd written.

I was stunned that readers would find a comment offering my best wishes so offensive that they would report it. In thought, I sent out my love to the celebrity, all the readers (including the "haters") and the newspaper. I also put out an intention that my comment be reinstated.

I received an email later from the moderator notifying me that my comment has been reinstated.

I would rather be on the side of those who love than those who hate.

Besides, only Love has any real power.

Quote of the Day - 2

"I believe the Omnipotent Light/Creative Intelligence/God/Love/Spirit/Source is everywhere present but what we, as humans, are tapping into is only the tip of the iceberg. I believe in order to experience Its full Power, it's important to acknowledge Its presence at all times and let the Power work for you." ~~ Enocia

Love It!

Check out this video of a dog playing the piano.

Love it!

I once witnessed a dog who really appreciates good music.

The musician was a busker (street performer) playing his guitar. As the dog didn't have any money to offer the busker, he found a stick and gave it to the man and then sat in front of the guy as he sang. The dog even sang along with the busker but the busker wasn't impressed. It was the funniest thing I'd ever seen. I even noted down the experience on my blog. See Nothing But a Hound Dog

Don't Waste Your Money!

A few weeks back, when I noticed information on the Internet for a herbal product that I thought my mother would be interested in, I brought the information to her attention. After she read about the product, she decided to place an order. She soon received a confirmation email that her order had been received and was being shipped to her.

After two weeks and still no product, I thought to myself: "God, I don't want mum to waste her money on some duff product. If this product is fake, would you please cancel the order?"

This morning, mum told me she's been thinking that if she doesn't receive the order today, she's going to cancel it.

Later in the afternoon when I checked my mother's email on her behalf, I found an email from the company she'd ordered the product from. They said the product she ordered had been returned and they wanted to know whether she'd returned it and why. They also said if they didn't hear from her soon they were going to refund her money.

It was then I confessed about my prayer.

Mum asked me to cancel the order and ask for her money to be refunded.

Don't waste your money, ask God first!

Shovelling Snow

Two nights ago we had a few inches of snowfall.

Yesterday, I popped out briefly to push the rubbish bin and our neighbour's in front for the dustmen to collect today. There was a lot of snow in front of the house, which made the task quite arduous. Even if I did want to get rid of the snow, I couldn't anyway as we don't have a shovel. After dragging the bins out, I went back indoors.

I soon heard someone shovelling outside. When I looked out of the window I saw our neighbour was not only shovelling her front path but doing ours as well.

This morning I noticed the footpaths had been shovelled too, probably by council workers.

Thank you, God, for doing everything including shovelling snow.

Perfectly Normal - Revisited

When it comes to having periods, I was a very late starter.

I remember feeling really insecure about being the only girl in my class not having them and praying really hard to get my period. When they finally arrived at 15, they were very heavy.

I tried all sorts of sanitary towels and tampons and none of them were absorbent enough. Then I went through a period when I was on the pill which helped to lighten the flow. When I stopped taking the pill, I was back to heavy periods.

I've noticed my periods are changing now. I can go for days being light and then it gets heavy again. This cycle, I went for 6 days with hardly anything and then last night it got so heavy I had to get up in the middle of the night to change. When I went to the supermarket earlier today, I had to use their toilets to change tampons which I'd only had on for about an hour.

I used to worry whether my periods were normal. I would even read up about what "normal" periods are meant to be like and try and compare them to mine.

Then I realised there is no one size fits all idea of normality.

How many women have had my life experiences?
How many women believe exactly in what I do?
How many women eat the foods I eat?
How many women think the way I do?
How many women have my kind of body?

I stopped taking all kinds of medication in 1999 and don't even have a doctor now. Since then, I have been relying on prayer and affirmation for healing.

Since I believe our beliefs/thoughts influence our bodies, surely how my periods flow must reflect my beliefs and world view and cannot fit into society's idea of "normal."

There's nothing wrong with my period. My flow is normal for me.

Custom Made For You - Revisited

When my mother's recliner chair started playing up, I sent it Light and thanked Light for working perfectly. Mum said she was still having problems with it and she was thinking of getting a new chair. Her friend, who recently got a recliner chair, recommended a company whose chairs were a lot cheaper than the company my mother had bought her recliner from. Mum rang the company up and they promised to send her their catalogue. After she received their catalogue, she called the company to discuss what they had and whether they could meet her need. She then took time out to decide which one to go for.

The next day, my mother received a telephone call which I answered on her behalf. They said they were calling from a chair company. Mum presumed they were the company she'd got the catalogue from, as she had been thinking of calling them to make an order, but it turned out to be the company she'd bought her original chair from years back. They asked if she was happy with her current chair and she said she was thinking of getting a new one as the mechanism was now faulty. They arranged for someone to come round the next day to show her what they now have to offer. I decided to stay home so I could meet with the representative.

When the representative arrived, he explained that their company is not interested in comparing prices with other companies but comfort. Each chair is custom designed to meet the customer's physical needs. They then take into account what the customer can afford and recommend the appropriate chair. Because mum had bought her chair from them, they offered her 50% discount.

I could see that the other company her friend had recommended was all about prices and deals and not about the customer's unique needs. Mum has decided to stay with the original company.

I find it amazing how the company had called her "out of the blue" right at the moment she was about to call that other company. I believe it was the Light in action.

Light is meeting all needs perfectly according to beliefs.

Feeding on Love

While I was at my friend's house, I started experiencing period pain. I decided to lie down for a while. My friend put some music on and left me alone. As I was listening to the music I drank in the love from the music and my friend's good intentions and I felt better.

Later, my friend returned and he pointed out various places he's been to on the Internet map. As I was standing up, I could feel my back aching again. All I wanted to do was lie down. I decided to focus instead on the information my friend was sharing, which was his way of expressing what he loves. As I drank in his love, the pain on my back dissolved and I really enjoyed what he was sharing with me.

I find when I acknowledge Love's presence in all forms and in every moment, I am nourished, supplied and supported by Love.

Quote of the Day

"Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence?" ~~ Shirdi Sai Baba

It Will Soon Pass!

In an email to a friend yesterday, who is based in Southern California and enjoying warm weather, I told her it's been very cold here. I said:

"I know it will soon pass and we'll be back to having milder weather as we have done this winter."

Later in the evening, while I was with a friend who is interested in studying weather pattern, he showed me a map of the weather patterns and how the heavy snow that had been predicted was going to hit the UK simply passed over it and has been dumped in Southern Europe and in North Africa. He said we're just experiencing the cold winds from the north, which will soon dissipate.

Coincidence or is my "It will soon pass" belief literally coming true?

I say, bring on the mild weather NOW for all who appreciate mild weather!

Whatever the weather, I believe Love is all there is...and Love is always constant!

Song of the Day - 9

"I Cannot Hide From You" by Greg Long.

Standing on the Truth Escalator

"Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions." ~~ Ecclesiastes 7: 29
In my response to a friend's email, I commended her for standing on Truth when she was ill. By this I mean, despite appearances and what the doctors were telling her, she continued to believe in Truth principles that were meaningful to her, which led to her recovery.

When I say "standing on Truth" I don't just mean it symbolically but literally.

Truth is like an escalator that I can get on and either stand on and let it carry me, or I can walk on it to the other side.

Unlike escalators that only travel short distances, the Truth Escalator (TE) travels forever. In fact, there is nothing but the Truth Escalator.

Because there is only the TE, it is impossible to get off it. The only way to get off the TE is to imagine that I'm off it. When I imagine myself experiencing life away from TE, I have to contend with the many conflicting beliefs that man has made up, which oppose the Truth of who I really am. When I stop day-dreaming and remember that I am always on the Truth Escalator on the destination to nowhere, my life experiences are based on the Truth of my Real Self.

For instance, the Truth of who I am is Harmony but we are constantly being bombarded with adverts for sickness and images of disharmony etc, which pharmaceutical industries benefit from. When I buy into those beliefs, I'm imagining myself away from the Truth Escalator. When I remember that I am on the Truth Escalator, I am back to being in harmony, which is the nature of my Real Self.

In my email to my friend I shared how by standing on Truth I've been able to dissolve migraines. (See Claiming My Wholeness with Gratitude). I've even literally saved my life by standing on Truth. One night when I woke up and felt an invisible hand on my throat trying to strangle me, I was able to fight it by remembering a verse from the Bible. (See As Light as a Feather)

Thank you, Truth Escalator, for always supporting me and carrying me everywhere I go.
